Regina

There’s nothing like coming home…tonight’s show was incredibly special. I’m glad to have been able to play for my family and my closest friends. Also glad to have been joined by the Lazy MKs, Anna Rose, and Deb Tuchelt – you guys made this album what it is and I’m honoured to make music with you. A special thanks to Karl from the Pile o’ Bones Brass Band for stepping up to add his talents to Forget About Me – such a professional to play a song three times through in soundcheck and then nail it for the end of the show, thanks man!

Another special shout-out goes to the Rusty Howard boys, Lyndon Lisitza (our skip and lead singer) and Kris Smith (third).  Even though Kris forgot his banjo and had to resort to clapping along to the songs I think the crowd was happy to see our curling team on the stage again…just too bad Scottie was in B.C.

Also glad to have heard Belle Plaine’s beautiful voice again, thanks Mel for opening up. Your voice is like an angel.

And last, but not least, thanks Darce for bringing your ‘loveACT’ to the stage – I miss playing with you, glad we got to do a few songs tonight…let’s get that album recorded this December…
